WORKING FOR US In the last 12 months, Gemini Taxis has seen rapid expansion and continues to do so on a weekly basis. We are therefore currently looking to recruit new and existing taxi drivers and trained or inexperienced office staff. WE NEED DRIVERS – NOW! We want to recruit both new and existing taxi drivers – owner-drivers or 50-50 drivers. We currently have vacancies for night drivers and split-shift drivers, plus a waiting list for day drivers. New drivers Contact us at Gemini Taxis and we will help the right people obtain their taxi licence by providing training and guidance on how to pass your test. We can also supply vehicles for the right people, so contact us now. Existing taxi drivers We will consider any existing taxi driver, as long as they meet our recruitment criteria: Smart appearance, friendly personality, good local knowledge and the willingness to work some unsociable hours. Owner drivers As well as meeting the above personal criteria, we expect drivers to join us with vehicles less than 3 years old. We currently have a need for 8-seaters, saloons and executive vehicles. 50/50 drivers Our 50/50 drivers enjoy the opportunity of working for Gemini Taxis without the financial outlay of being an owner driver. 50-50 drivers take-home 50% of what they earn, whilst contributing 50% towards the fuel costs on a self-employed basis. Office staff We currently have vacancies in our office for people who have a polite telephone manner, are keyboard efficient, have excellent verbal and written skills and are able to work a variety of shifts to include some weekend work. In return we pay a good hourly rate and bonuses. |
